Since qualifying in 2003, I have undergone postgraduate training in advanced restorative dentistry at the Eastman dental hospital, London.I am currently undergoing an MSc to support my interest in techniques such as crowns, bridges, removable prosthetics (dentures) endodontics, and full case rehabilitations to enable me to provide exceptional care to all my patients. I have also undertaken further training in restoring and placing Implants with Straumann/ ITI dental education, Europes leading Implant company.

After graduating from Sheffield University in 1999, I did my Vocational Training in Loughborough, following which I worked as a Senior House Officer in Maxillofacial Surgery at Derriford Hospital in Plymouth. I have since been based mainly in Woking, working part-time in private practice as well as Surrey Special Care Dentistry service.

During this time I have gained further postgraduate qualifications, which have led to attaining Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons of England. I have also completed an advanced cosmetic dentistry programme; and am an active member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Other interests that I’ve nurtured over the past few years with further education and experience include orthodontics, implant restoration and acupuncture. I believe in providing quality dental care with prevention being an area of key focus.


Josh Sharpling BDS(Hons) MFDS GDC Number 2511169

After graduating from King's College London with honours in 2014, I worked in a Dental Practice in Somerset gaining experience in all areas of general dentistry. After this, I spent a year as a Dental Core Trainee at King's College Hospital London. During this year I treated patients with complex dental and medical needs, and managed many anxious and dental phobic patients using sedation techniques for dental extractions and Minor Oral Surgery.

Since qualification I have passed my postgraduate membership exams to the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and undertaken a course in Sedation and Aesthetic Dentistry.


Periodontal Specialist

After qualifying from Otago university in New Zealand, I worked in general practice for several years during which I developed a special interest in Periodontology. Subsequently, I embarked on my specialist training in Periodontology at King's College London Dental Institute, culminating in MClinDent (Merit) and membership in Peridontics (MPerio) frrom the Royal college of surgeons in Edinburgh. My particular clinical strengths include the surgical management of aggressive and chronic periodontitis cases, periodontal regenerative procedures and surgical management of crown lengthening cases. Currently, I am working at Guy's Hospital and also pursuing a PHD in Periodontal regeneration, sponsered by Geistlich Pharma AG and Supervised by the world renowned Professor Frances Hughes.



Specialist Prosthodontist

Krishnakant Bhatia BDS (GLAS), MFDS RCPS (GLAS), MCLINDENT (EDIN), MRD RCS (EDIN) GDC Number: 81960

After qualifying from Glasgow Dental Hospital and School, Krish completed a range of hospital training posts within Scotland. In 2005 he was appointed as a specialist registrar in fixed and removable Prosthodontics at the Edinburgh Dental Institute. During this time he completed a masters degree in fixed and removable Prosthodontics and in 2008 achieved his Membership in Restorative Dentistry (MRD) from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh specialising in Prosthodontics.
Krish is fully experienced in all aspects of conventional and implant, fixed and removable Prosthodontics. He has developed a keen interest in aesthetic full mouth rehabilitations using restorative, surgical and multidisciplinary approaches. He is interested in establishing working relationships with referring dentists that wish to develop their own skills and knowledge base to improve the quality of care to their patients.
Krish is also a senior clinical researcher for the University of Edinburgh and honorary specialist in Prosthodontics at the Edinburgh Dental Institute where he is committed to the postgraduate training of dentists from new graduates through to master’s degree students.

The Changing Faces® Denture Clinic in Surrey is located within Roseneath Dental Surgery and is managed by Clinical Dental Technician Bill Sharpling.
Bill is is one of the UK's foremost Clinical Dental Technicians and is a well known Opinion Leader in Dentistry. He is the Director of the London Dental Education Centre (LonDEC) and Senior Clinical Teacher at Kings College London Dental Institute. Bill has over 25 years experience working as a Dental Technician in the UK and abroad and has achieved advanced qualifications in fixed and removable prosthodontics.
Bill undertakes all aspects of denture provision within the clinic and laboratory.
For partial denture wearers, Roseneath's principal Dentist, Gavin Khedun, provides dental health checks to Changing Faces® patients, giving Bill the information he needs to treat patients that require partial dentures.

After qualifying as a dental nurse in 1980, I undertook further training at the Royal Army Dental Corps school of Hygiene and qualified as a dental hygienist in 1985.

I enjoy being part of a small family oriented dental practice at Roseneath, where all members of the team work together to provide the best care for our patients.

Dental Nurses


I joined Roseneath Dental Surgery in January 2015 after working in childcare for over 6 years. I enjoy working with different Dentists in various disiplines gaining new skills which helped me to qualify as a Dental Nurse in June 2017.


Reception Team


Returning to work after family commitment I have been a receptionist at Roseneath Dental Surgery Since 2014. I enjoy meeting old and new Patients whilst helping to set them at ease in our friendly caring practice.



After qualifying as a Dental Nurse in 1991, I have worked at Roseneath Dental Surgery for the last fourteen years and now work on reception meeting and greeting Patients. I enjoy being a member of the team and helping Patients to have the best care possible.
